What We Believe

        You must hear the word of God, believe, confess, repent of your sins, baptized in the water and with the Holy Ghost in the Name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins;

        Acts 2:36-39

36 Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made that same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ.

37 Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, "Men and brethren, what shall we do?"  (Romans 10:8-16, Acts 19:1-12)

38 Then Peter said unto them, "Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

39 For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call."

        Acts 10:44-48

44 While Peter yet spake these words, the Holy Ghost fell on them which heard the word.

45 And they of the circumcision which believed were astonished, as many as cam with Peter, because that on the Gentiles also was poured out the gift of the Holy Ghost.

46 For they heard them speak with tongues, and magnify God. Then answered Peter,

47 "Can and man forbid water, that these should not be baptized, which have received the Holy Ghost as well as we?"

48 And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of the Lord. Then prayed they him to tarry certain days.

        Acts 22:16

16 And now why tarriest thou? Arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of the Lord.

        Luke 24:46-49

46 And said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behoved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day;

47 And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.

        Mark 16:15-18

15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.

16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saced; but he that believeth not shall be damned.

17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shalt they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;

18 They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

        Matthew 28:18-20

18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.

19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost;

20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you; and, to, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

We Believe in Speaking in Tongues

        Acts 2:1-5

1 And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.

2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting

3 And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them

4 And they were filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

5 And there were dwelling at Jerusalem Jews, devout men, out of every nation under heaven

        Acts 10:44-48

44 While Peter yet spake these words, the Holy Ghost felt on all of them which heard the word.

45 And they of the circumcision which believed were astonished, as many as came with Peter, because that on the Gentiles also was poured out the gift of the Holy Ghost

46 For they heard them speak with tongues, and magnify God.  (Acts 8:15-17; Acts 19:5-7; I Corinthians 13:1; I Corinthians 14:3-4, 39)

We Believe in the Godhead (Deity)

        We believe in the Father, Son, Holy Ghost, and the full deity of God (God Head). We believe the full deity of God. Includes the compound names of Jehovah. Such as Jehovah Nissi, Jehovah Adonai, etc... Through the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and saviour, all the compound names of God operate. Therefore the fullness of the God Head is in Christ Jesus Bodily;  (Colossians 1:9, Colossians 2:9-10)

        Jesus is not just saviour and the son of God but he is God himself who came in the flesh and is the Holy Ghost now IN us; (I Timothy 3:16; I Corinthians 3:17; John 14:7, 11, 20; John 3:34; Colossians 3:11; John 1:1, 14-18; Isaiah 9:6; Deuteronomy 6:4; Jude 25; Revelation 1:8, 17; Revelation 4:8; and Revelation 19:14-15)

The Saints Wilt Be Resurrected

        I Thessalonians 4:16-17

16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the noice of the archangel, and with the trumpet of God; and the dead in Christ shall rise first.

17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air; and so shall we forever be with the Lord.

        I Corinthians 15:51-53

51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall be changed.

52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet; for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptable, and we shall be changed.

        Revelation 4:1

1 After this I looked, and behold, a door was opened in heaven; and the first voice which I heard were as if it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, "Come up hither, and I will shew hee things which must be hereafter.

Preamble

        Christian Faith Fellowship Temple Incorporated (CFFT) is the continuation of a great revival that began at Jerusalem on the Day of Pentecost A.D.33. CFFT is founded upon the Prophets, the Apostles, and  "Jesus Christ Himself being the Chief Corner Stone" (Acts 2:1-12; Ephesians 2:19,20). The true followers have been little known through past history because of a great Martyr of the Jesus Only Christians. During the history of the Church from 180 A.D. through the early 1800's A.D. more than 68,000,000 Jesus name Christians have been killed by the Roman Catholic Church and some Trinitarian Churches.

        At various intervals, throughout the past centuries, the followers of the Apostolic Faith Doctrine have become prominent through great revivals that have appeared in Great Britain, the United States, and Canada.

        In the days of Tutulian (207 A.D.) and Chryostoro (4th Century) the gift and manifestation of the Apostolic Church were much evidence as the revival spirit swept over the countries carried by Christians of the 13th Century, Thomas Monza (16th Century), the early Quakers, Wesley, Whitcliff, and Irving.

        In Kansas (1901), the revival broke forth and moved southward to Texas. The revival being locally known in Kansas and Texas only finally reached Los Angeles, California by 1906. It spread from there throughout the whole earth entering into every nation under heaven. It soon penetrated the depth of darkness in India, China, Africa, and the Isle of the Sea fulfilling the commission of our Lord and we found some apostolic churches with truth already there: "Go ye into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature" - and proclaim the soon coming of the Lord (Mark 16:15-20; Matthew 28:19; Luke 24:47-49; Acts 1:4-11). The awakening was so great that in a few years the witness of the Pentecostal outpouring of the spirit began appearing in different locations. When the gifts of the spirit were manifested in these places of worship the saints designated themselves by such names as The Apostolic Faith Mission, Pentecostal Mission, Apostolic Faith Assembly, Full Gospel Assembly or Mission, Assembly of God, etc. They took the Bible as their creed, discipline, rule of order, and character (Luke 24:48; Acts 1:8; Acts 2:4).

        Our emphasis is to glorify our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, who gave Himself for us that He might redeem us from iniquity. Jesus, purifying unto Himself a peculiar people zealous of good works, that we should show forth the praises of Him who hath called us out of darkness into His marvelous light. We shine as lights in the midst of a crooked and preverse generation, holding forth the Word of Life to give light to them that sit in darkness to guide their feet into the way of peace (titus 2:13,14; I Peter 2:9; Philippians 2:15,16; Luke 1:7,9).

Our duty is to life the fallen, visit the sick, strengthen the weak, encourage the faint hearted, comfort the feeble minded, point the lost to the way of salvation, urge all believers to seek a spirit filled life and prepare for the coming of the Lord. Our indispensable duty as partakers of the Royal Priesthood is to offer supplication; prayers, governors, magistrates, and all that are in authority so that we may lead a quiet and peaceful life in all Godliness and honesty. To submit ourselves to these ordinances so long as they do not infringe upon the poverty of service toward God according to the meditation of the heart and conscious whether it be king as Supreme, or governor as unto these that are sent by Him for the punishment of the evil doer and for the praise of them that do well (Ephesians 5:8; Acts 19:1-16; James 1:27; I Thessalonians 5:4; Mark 16:15-18; Matthew 25:1-13; I Peter 2:13-17; Titus 3:1-12' Matthew 22:21; Romans 13:1-7).
